Ecolab Receives 2017 Korea Economic Leader Award

On August 31, 2017, Ecolab Korea was recognized with the Sustainability Management Award during the Korea Economic Leader Awards ceremony at the 2017 Korea Economic Leader Grand Prix. The Korea Economic Leader Awards are held annually to recognize those who will shape and lead the future of Korea. 

"It is our mission at Ecolab to make water cleaner, food safer, energy more efficient and environments healthier," said Yang-Kwon Ryu, Ecolab market head for Korea. "As a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, we are working with companies throughout Korea to accomplish this mission."

Award winners were selected by a panel of experts from industry and academia, and recognized in one of 12 categories, including sustainability management. 

The Korea Economic Leader Awards were co-hosted by the JoongAng Ilbo newspaper and the Economist, and sponsored by the JTBC cable network; Ministry of Science, Technology and Information; and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
